I'm sure there will be Region D fans there, but I'm not sure all of them will be cheering on the Panthers.

Go Panthers!
What makes you think people here are against the Panthers? I've seen you say something to this affect before, so I'm just wondering why people wouldn't pull for them?
Anytime you have a successful team in a district or region, you will have fans who want to see them lose.
In the LPD, I've seen fans from every school fill the bleachers to cheer against Gate City in tournaments, probably for no other reason than GC has dominated the district.
Don't assume that all Region D fans will support the champions on a bid for the state title.
Rivalries die hard.

Twin Valley is 5 years old. This is their first time in the state play-offs. They've not been around long enough to make enemies, and they seem to have a classy program. Unless there is something I haven't seen, people have no reason to root against them. I'll be pulling for them. I'd say don't assume people won't be rooting for them just because you are not.
Twin Valley as a school is new, but the schools that comprised Twin Valley are not.
It would also be a mistake for you to assume that I am rooting for or against Twin Valley. I am completely indifferent to Twin Valley. If they win the state championship, thats ok. If they lose in the semi-finals, thats ok too.
My opinion that some Region D fans may not be rooting for Twin Valley on Saturday night is based purely on my experiences of having lived here all my life and understanding how divided our communities can be.

I know this is a little off-subject, but do you all think Twin Valley would have been as successful if the Goodman's hadn't made the switch from Council? and, Twin Valley is a consolidation of Garden and what other school? I've been away for awhile.
TV is Garden & Whitewood.
Think about it, how many Tech fans root for UVA to win their bowl game (and vice-versa)?
There's always a bunch that want their rival/s to lose. But when it comes to post-season, I think you should root for the "locals", no matter how bad you hated them last month. After all, they're rep'ing your area/conf./dist.
I think Twin Valley would have had a great season even if Goodman had not transferred, but I'm not sure they would have won the Region D championship. Kent took them to another level.
In the same respect, some would argue that Twin Springs may not have been in the Region D tournament had Kecev not started mid-season.
Flip the coin, and you have those who believe Gate City would have been in the championship game if Kilore and Parks were not sidelined.
It is a lot of "what if's."
